Meet Dr. Radha Patel

Dr. Radha Patel, originally from Augusta, GA, joined the Proud Smiles team in September 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013. Following her dental education, she completed a year of advanced education in general dentistry at the Veteran’s Hospital in Memphis, TN, where she treated patients with various medical complexities, enhancing her clinical skills.

Returning to Atlanta, Dr. Patel practiced Dentistry and obtained certifications in Sedation Dentistry and Laser Therapy for Gum Disease (LANAP). She is dedicated to continuing education and staying updated with the latest dental technology advancements to provide exceptional patient care. Dr. Patel is passionate about promoting a health-centered dental practice, focusing on the overall well-being of her patients and integrating preventive care and holistic approaches into her treatments.

‍In her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling with her husband, exploring new restaurants, and hiking. They welcomed their first child in September 2021. Dr. Patel’s approach to Dentistry focuses on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and empowered to make the best decisions for their oral health.
